Morgan Dreese was born in the pine-filled Piedmont of North Carolina, where her early work was inspired by Southern landscapes and her family’s stone home at Higgins Creek. After earning a degree in Art from East Carolina University and a master’s degree from Domus Academy in Milan, she traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, and Egypt, deepening her interest in architecture and design. Grounded in her Southern roots and global experience, her work now spans realism, impressionism, and abstraction, primarily in oil using brush and palette knife.
